Handmade Fall Lip Gloss Trio
Three gorgeous Fall inspired lip glosses. I was inspired by the deep rich colors of the turning leaves, rich hot cocoa on foggy mornings and the haunting jack-o-lanterns that line the porches of the beautiful houses in my neighborhood.
This was such a fun project to formulate. I had all my pigments and mineral colorants out mixing and blending. I love this time of year!!!
This lip gloss project took up my entire kitchen counter, but it was so much fun!!!
Here are the three pigment bases that I used in my lip glosses. You want to wear a dust mask so you don't inhale the airborne particles. Also, write down your recipe so you can make it again.
Here are the lip glosses swatched on my arm. The left one is called Framboise, the middle one is called Dutch Cocoa, and the right one is called Pumpkin Spice. They are so beautiful! I usually give away the things that I make, but I might just keep all three for myself!
I made a lip gloss tutorial a few weeks ago, you can find the step-by-step instructions HERE of you would like to read it.
