Herbal Toner for Oily Skin

Ready to shake up your skincare routine with a toner that's a total game-changer? This little concoction is like a boot camp for oily complexions: super astringent, anti-inflammatory, and not afraid to whip your skin into shape.

Our secret weapon? Witch Hazel Extract. It's like a tough-love grandma, banishing oil from your skin and shrinking your pores down to size. And because nobody likes a one-trick pony, we've also added a dash of Aloe Vera Gel. Just like a soothing lullaby, it caresses your skin with its calming properties.

But what's a party without a little zest? Orange Blossom Water struts in with its mild astringency, making it our top pick hydrosol for oily skin. You can grab this citrusy superstar from your local Middle Eastern grocery store.

We're also bringing Calendula extract to the mix (check out how to make tinctures HERE). It's like a personal trainer for your skin, potentially boosting collagen production.

And for that final punch of power, we've enlisted the help of Lavender, Tea Tree, and Palmarosa essential oils. Just a few drops and your skin will be singing their praises.

To apply, just soak a cotton pad with about 2mls of this magic juice and gently sweep it over your freshly scrubbed face - but careful, it's not a fan of the eye area. So, are you ready to let this toner be the new sheriff in your skincare town?

This is the base of my toner.  I like to use Mountain Rose Herbs Aloe Vera Gel and Witch Hazel Extract.

These are my homespun tinctures.  If you don't want to make your own tinctures, then you can purchase them from Mountain Rose Herbs.

I suggest Mountain Rose Herbs for essential oils.  I really enjoy their Organic Palmarosa Essential Oil.

Store your toner in a glass amber colored bottle.  You can use a dropper insert if you would like. These can be purchased from Mountain Rose Herbs.
