Sanitzing

Cleanliness Crusade!

Before you dive into playing beauty chef, it's absolutely paramount to have a kitchen that sparkles like a disco ball. Every nook and cranny, from counters to lids, utensils to your own fabulous hands, need to be squeaky clean. You wouldn't want any uninvited microscopic party crashers like germs, bacteria, or mold to tango with your beauty products and turn them into skin infection grenades.

Here's how I transform my workspace into a hygiene haven:

1. I give my utensils and containers a 30-minute luxury spa treatment in a bath of 1 tablespoon of bleach and a gallon of fresh water. Afterward, they sunbathe on a pristine dish towel.

2. I keep a spray bottle filled with good ol' alcohol as my sanitation sidekick. It mists down my countertops and anything else my hands might wander to during the beauty brew process.

3. To kick things off, I scrub-a-dub-dub my hands with a swanky tea tree oil and grapefruit seed extract infused soap, paying special attention to the under-nail boogie. Remember, clean hands are happy hands!
