Sugared Pomegranate Lip Polish

I don't suffer with dry and flaky lips anymore! I also don't spend upwards of $22 for a small 0.6 ounce of some fancy department store brand of lip polish.  For under $1.00 per batch, I make my very own Sugared Pomegranate Lip Polish using natural, good-for-you ingredients.  Have you ever heard of Organic Freeze-Dried Pomegranate Powder? I put this Persian superfood in my morning smoothies because it has beneficial antioxidants, vitamin C and polyphenols.  It also adds a little  natural "magic" to my lip polish.  I hope you enjoy making this beauty recipe for yourself and your friends!! Green Blessings!

Sugared Pomegranate Lip Polish
1/2 teaspoon Beeswax
2 teaspoons of Sweet Almond Oil
1 teaspoon Shea Butter
1 1/4 teaspoon Freeze-Dried Pomegranate Powder
2 teaspoons Cane Sugar
40 drops Vitamin E Oil

Place the Beeswax, Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter into a small heat-safe glass and place in a pot of simmering water until the wax and oil has melted together.  Remove from the heat.

Add in the Vitamin E Oil.

Add in the pomegranate powder.

Add in the cane sugar.

Transfer the warm mixture to a small container of your choice. You can occasionally stir the mixture to evenly distribute the sugar while it cools and hardens.

Make a cute little label and attach it to the jar.  This is a picture of the back label I made using a cute little "handmade" rubber stamp.

TO USE THE LIP POLISH: Gently massage over lips for a few minutes.  Leave on for 5 minutes and then gently rinse off with warm water.  Your lips will be super supple and smooth!!  Enjoy!
