Coconut and Lemon Hand Sanitizer Spray

My recipe for an all-natural D.I.Y Coconut and Lemon Hand Sanitizer combines the germ fighting power of grain alcohol with the delicious aromas of coconut extract and lemon essential oil.  I added in a tiny bit of vegetable glycerine to leave your hands feeling smooth.  You will need 151 Vodka to ensure proper germ fighting power.

151 Proof Grain Alcohol is 75.5% alcohol and you need at least 62% alcohol in order to kill germs.  Most hand sanitizers are at least 62%.

I also used Flavorganics Organic Coconut Extract.  This gives the recipe a fresh coconut fragrance and it is all natural.  I found this at my local Whole Foods market.

I used a 2 ounce amber glass spray bottle.  These are refillable and eco friendly. You can order them online.

I also used Mountain Rose Herbs Lemon Essential Oil and Mountain Rose Herbs Vegetable Glycerine. You can order both of these ingredients online HERE.
