Green Goddess Comfrey & Plantain Skin Cream

Oh, bless my son's heart (and his super dry hands)! It's that time of the year again when his skin starts resembling the scales of a dragon. But fear not, for I hold the power to keep his dryness under control with my miraculous herbal infused skin salves and creams. However, tragedy struck when he went fishing (without me, mind you) and neglected to apply any hand cream for a whopping three days. Imagine my dismay when he returned home and unveiled his hands to me. They were dry, inflamed, and even cracking. It almost brought tears to my eyes!

But fear not, for I took matters into my own hands. Late into the night, I toiled away, concocting a skin cream that would work wonders. Oh, it was a haphazard creation, a blend of whatever ingredients I could find in my humble abode. I hoped and prayed it would turn out good, and lo and behold, it turned out REALLY good! Sneaking upstairs while he slept, I gently massaged this divine creation into his precious hands. I despise eczema and dry skin, so I christened this masterpiece the "Green Goddess Comfrey & Plantain Skin Cream." Its beautiful light green hue resembles the essence of a Goddess, protective and promoting healing.

Now, let me divulge the secrets of this mighty recipe. No water is needed in this concoction, my friends. The absence of water means no need for a preservative, and it results in a highly concentrated cream. Here's what I used: plantain, comfrey leaf, and comfrey root infused olive oil, Shea butter, beeswax, cocoa butter, Vitamin E oil, and a divine blend of essential oils that soothe dry skin with their enchanting aromas. Picture this heavenly blend: Blue Chamomile, Bulgarian Lavender, Rosemary, Cedarwood Atlas, Juniper Berry, and Patchouli. Ah, the very essence of serenity!

With this Green Goddess Comfrey & Plantain Skin Cream, I aim to banish dryness and champion the cause of beautifully nourished skin. Let the protective powers of this cream work their magic, just like a Goddess watching over her devotees. Say goodbye to dryness, my friends, and embrace the healing touch of this extraordinary creation. You can order Plantain (Plantago major) from Mountain Rose Herbs.  They carry high quality Certified Organic.  Click HERE to be taken to Mountain Rose Herbs website.  Plantain Leaf has a high amount of skin healing allantion.  Allantion is known to be very soothing for skin with eczema and may help support the body's natural healing of eczema.

Mountain Rose Herbs offers Certified Organic Comfrey Root.

I like to use both Comfrey Root and Comfrey Leaf in my herbal infused oil.  It is one of the best herbs at promoting healthy skin and is well known to support the body's ability to heal wounded skin.  Just like Plantain, Comfrey has a high amount of allantoin.  Comfrey leaf has been used around the world in making dermal applications such as pastes, ointments, poultices and salves.
