D.I.Y Beard Oil Tutorial

Who says you can't tame a beast? With beard oil, it's a walk in the park! Turn your facial fuzz from a prickly porcupine into a purring kitten, and make it smell so divine, even roses will be jealous.

Now, you'll want to pick carrier oils that get absorbed quicker than gossip in a small town, leaving your beard as silky as a late-night radio host's voice, without the oiliness of a fast-food fryer.

The perfect time to pamper your whiskers? Right after a shower when your beard's still slightly damp, like a loaf fresh out of the oven. No need to go overboard with the oil, a quarter teaspoon should do the trick unless your beard's auditioning for a role in a Viking saga.

Just rub that liquid gold between your palms and massage it into your beard like you're kneading dough. A beard comb works wonders to evenly distribute the oil, ensuring your skin gets in on the moisturizing action too.

Want to add a fragrance that'll make heads turn and noses twitch in delight? Drop in a bit of essential oils. I've got some scent-sational suggestions that'll make your beard the talk of the town!

Store your beard oil in a 1-ounce glass amber bottle with a dropper insert for best results.  You can purchase  a few from Mountain Rose Herbs. Click HERE to shop

Unleash your creativity, blend them like a seasoned bartender, or keep it as simple as a ham sandwich and just go for Jojoba or Grapeseed oil. The choice is yours, no pressure!

Add in some Vitamin E........

Once you have added the selected carrier oils into your glass bottle, add in 1/4 teaspoon of Vitamin E.  It serves as an anti-oxidant for your carrier oils and will help prevent rancidity.

Add in some Essential Oils...........

You won't need very much essential oil to make your beard oil smell amazing.  I suggest ten drops total of essential oil (about 2%).  If you have sensitive skin, use just five drops of essential oils.
