Simple and Sweet Strawberry and Sugar Scrub

I have a very delicious treat for you today! Your face and body are going to be super smooth and supple after you use this strawberry and sugar scrub.  The secret ingredient is freeze-dried strawberries!  I also added in four nourishing and moisturizing oils to soften and moisturize your skin.  Without further ado, lets get started!

You will need 12 grams of natural freeze-dried strawberries and 150 grams of organic pure cane sugar.

Place the freeze-dried strawberries into a mortar and pestle and grind to a fine powder.

Trust me, this smells amazing!!

Pour your pure cane sugar into the mortar and grind for several minutes to make the sugar crystals finer.

Measure out your oils.  You will need 30 grams of melted Shea butter, 20 grams liquid coconut oil, 20 grams sweet almond oil and 20 grams of sunflower oil.  I also added in 5 ml of Vitamin E Oil.

Place the powdered strawberries and the sugar into a small mixing bowl and stir in the oils.

Amazing!! I had to put my camera down and go do a scrub treatment on my hands!! My hands were so soft and supple after I rinsed them.

Transfer the scrub to a nice air-tight container and then quickly GO GET YOUR SCRUB ON!! To use: apply a small amount to dry skin and gently massage in small circular motions.  Apply a small amount of warm water and continue to gently scrub until the sugar crystals have melted.  Rinse off with warm water and gently pat skin dry. You may use on your face too.   Be extra careful when using in the shower or bath as the surface may become slippery.  Don't scrub your skin too hard! Your skin will appreciate a gentle exfoliation best! You can store this in a cool dark place and use within 3 months.

Cheers!
Shannon
